OUR CETI CERTIFIED CANCER EXERCISE SPECIALISTS

Holly DuFour

I am a wife, girl-mom, trainer, and coach who loves to see people succeed, especially at things they never thought possible. I have learned the importance of taking the time to understand an individual’s lifestyle in order to create an appropriate fitness experience that serves their needs. My purpose is to focus is on my client’s ability to move and function comfortably and live well. Fitness is a very personal experience, and it is my job to find ways for my clients to enjoy the process while making a real difference in lifestyle satisfaction. While health and wellness is a serious subject and critically important to enjoying life, I strive for fun because fun is what creates a sustainable lifestyle, and honestly, I am just a little silly and can’t hold it in. We know a strong, healthy body allows a clearer, sharper mindset which, in turn, builds a bold and happy self, prepared to take on all of life’s adventures and challenges courageously and enthusiastically. My purpose is making this a reality for you.

Certifications: CETI Cancer Exercise Specialist, AFPA Personal Trainer, MS Fitness and Wellness Specialist, Trigger Point and Myofascial Specialist, Lifestyle Wellness Coach, Group Fitness Instructor, H2O Instructor, CPR.

Kelly Ferguson

I am an independent fitness instructor and speech-language pathologist in Richmond, Virginia. For 15 years, I have been teaching in corporate and private gyms and leading my own original Bootcamp program. My goal is to motivate people of all ages and backgrounds to appreciate what their bodies are capable of and help them learn to push towards their own personal fitness goals and to celebrate themselves daily.  I have been quite fortunate to have had the opportunity to combine both my professional passions and create Kids Love Your Body Bootcamp (KLUBB). This program helps children with special needs to experience fitness in an inclusive setting and educate fitness professionals on how best to serve this incredible community. The Endorphasm Foundation is another way for me to help people improve their life experience through fitness and movement. As a cancer survivor, I understand first-hand, the value of your fitness routine, whatever that means for you, in your treatment plan.

Carlo Vernieri

We were made to move. For decades, science has repeatedly shown the benefits of regular exercise, and when managing a serious illness, fitness can be the difference between life and death. Fit-for-purpose exercise programming meant to address the implications of an illness can be the best medicine. I have been an athlete and fitness enthusiast since childhood, but only by watching Erica and Kelly manage their situations through fitness have I begun to truly appreciate the profound importance of their lifestyles relative to their diagnoses. As a firefighter/EMT, Endorphasm co-founder, and now Cancer Exercise Training Specialist, I want to help.

Erica Porter

I have over 30 years of health, fitness, and behavioral lifestyle and weight management counseling experience. I am a mother, wife, owner of Endorphasm Fitness, WOW Superhero professional wrestler (Jungle Grrrl) and happiness junkie. But most importantly, I am a human being that struggles with the same life choices as everyone else, and I have made it my mission to facilitate change, and help others create a life of total wellness through their action.

As I live with Stage-4 metastatic breast cancer, I am humbled by how amazing our bodies truly are and that movement truly can empower and heal.
